Owner and Founder, Demetria Young is an Herbalist with the passion to love and nurture her family, loved ones, and her community.  With self-care being a priority, reading, beach days, listening to jazz, brunches, laughing and joking with loved ones and spa days are always on the to-do list! 

 Demetria also serves her passion to sing as a member in her church Praise & Worship Team and also when asked to bless the mic at any occasion.

 Buttacup's is a Home-based Herbal business created at the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic.  The number one concern above all other concerns, was the health and wellness of my one and only daughter, A'myah.  Her immune system was highly compromised.  I was fearful for her life and need of help!  Being a student of Herbalism at that time tasty, kid- friendly, natural and organic recipes was the  go-to for boosting her immune system.  I started making Elderberry Gummies and posted my work on my personal Facebook page.  The FB community went wild! Before I knew it, I made more than half a week's paycheck in 2.5 days with sales from Elderberry Gummies.

So...I created Buttacup's!

Buttacup's, being the nickname given to me from my fiancée, seemed to be the perfect name for the business.  Afterall, he's the one that pushed me into alternative medicine education.
Inspired by family and LOVE, I make it my business to nurture anyone that comes to me to be cared for by Buttacup's whether it's someone wanting to purchase product, contemplating on natural ways to care for themselves an/or their family, to being a guest speaker for a workshop. Nurturing is my nature!
